My absolute favorite piece from this round of Genre is this stunning coat by Winged. Ugh, I just love it, it looks so cute with the little hood in the back and the capelet and the fur bits. Really lovely work and such a great pickup that will be a regular feature in my wardrobe!

In case you missed the furor, there was a new mesh head released by Lelutka! I’ve been a fan of mesh heads for ages, but was more of a “look but don’t touch” kind of person when it came to them. This new head is Simone, and has high narrow cheekbones and lush lips that I really liked. This version also includes the new v1.4 HUD for Lelutka heads plus exclusive expressions, and thus is a special edition.

New round of Genre has started and that means new blog posts! This round is Regency, and it looks fantastic–lots of lovely dresses and jewelry and furniture.

I was very drawn to this necklace by Distorted Designs. It paired beautifully with the Dead Dollz Young Witch dress, adding just a touch of something old to it. It’s vaguely sinister, due to the black flowers, so I felt it was just right for me.

My semester is finally, FINALLY ending, and I couldn’t be more relieved. I’ll have free time to do things I want to do!

I recently downloaded Blender because I kind of want to learn to make my own stuff. I have ideas for things I would love to see in SL, but haven’t been able to find them, so it’s kind of just me dipping a toe in to give it a shot.

Anyway, it’s the holidays and I’m loving a lot of stuff coming out. I went to the Arcade for this super cute new style by Spellbound (great store, btw), then hopped over to Remarkable Oblivion to play their machine from last year.

Let me just say that I think RO is an amazing brand. The creative force behind it is awesome (Thanks Blair and Seb) and their gacha machines have wonderful prizes, with rares at a very reasonable percentage. I got the boots and both pairs of goggles from their Snowboard machine in ten plays. So thank you for being awesome, RO.

I picked up a new skin from Lara Hurley, a brand I’ve always lusted after but never got a skin from. I’m loving this Heidi skin! I went for a darker tone than I normally do–this is Lara’s darkest tone she sells–but it really looks hot on me and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ll be going back for more once I cave on the mesh head front (her appliers are SO GORGEOUS).
