Jean Grey is probably my favorite of the X-Men, especially her Phoenix storyline (NOT from the movie, despite the above quote). As a result I’ve been kicking around an idea for a Phoenix-inspired picture, and played around with Photoshop a bit to get some nice effects. I wanted her to be in the White Hot Room, so I didn’t go too crazy on the background. Pretty pleased with how this turned out nonetheless!

Note: The flames were a gift to me from the lovely ColeMarie Soleil of Cole’s Corner, who does truly spectacular and beautiful particle effects. She sent them to me at a point when I was struggling for inspiration, so this picture is dedicated to her in appreciation. Thanks, Cole. ♥

Not everyone knows this, but I’m actually a Spaniard. My mother is from Spain, and I’m a dual citizen and bilingual. I’ve wanted to do a sort of Spanish-themed image for awhile now, and with the release of this lovely hair from Beusy I felt I could finally get something I wanted. I had to combine it with Kaorinette’s beautiful cheek brands, of course!

Hey everyone. Back from a holiday hiatus, and am slowly working my way back into blogging.

The Simone head from Lelutka was the first mesh head I ever bought, and I finally got around to picking up the Bento version. It’s really beautifully made and the animations are smooth and lovely. The new addons–teeth!!–were what decided me; I love how well made everything about this head is. The HUD’s great, and I can’t wait to see what else Lelutka will be putting forward for us in the future.

This shot is pretty much completely raw, straight from SL, so you can see the immense quality in the new head. Absolutely recommend picking it up if you’re a fan of mesh heads.

Not as “artsy” as my last few pictures have been, but I liked this prop from last week’s FLF so much that I wanted to use it. :> Didn’t do a lot of editing here either, just good old SL lighting.

I love Atomic skins, so I was super happy to see this new Catwa applier from Ivy at the Arcade. It’s really beautiful, and her body appliers are lovely. So I kinda freaked out that she made skins for Catwa, and she’s promised she’ll be doing more in the future!
